Confirmation

We have been initiated to Christian life through Baptism.  In this sacrament we receive the seal of the Holy Spirit and reaffirm our belief in Christ.  We bind ourselves as Catholics to the Church and we are given strength by the Holy Spirit to be witnesses for Christ in this life and by living as examples of His Love.

Matrimony

Christian marriage is when a man and a woman promise themselves to each other.  They promise to share life, love and their Christian faith with each other.  God shows His love through this sacrament whose purpose is the procreation of life through the birth of children through conjugal love and the mutual love shared by the man and woman.  It is expected that the either the man or the woman who approach this sacrament is a practicing Catholic (i.e. Roman, Orthodox, Independent, etc.).

Holy Orders

The candidate confirms himself to Christ.  The candidate promises his life to the Lord in service to the Lord and to the People of God.  He intends to be a leader in prayer, a shepherd for the People of God, an example of Christ on this earth and he receives the power to perform this sacred ministry through Apostolic Succession.  Only male candidates are accepted in the National Catholic Apostolic Church.

Anointing of the Sick

Anointing of the Sick or Extreme Unction unites the Community of Faith in prayer petitioning the Lord to restore to health one of Christ's family.  When a person is ailing and is in danger of death, we come together in prayer to ease the suffering, forgive sins and bring them support for their eternal salvation.  Please do not hesitate to call upon the clergy to officiate this sacrament as there is nothing more important than the salvation of the souls of God's children
