St. Michael's National Catholic Apostolic Church
The National Catholic Apostolic Church (NCAC) is an extension of the Catholic Apostolic Church of Brazil in the United States. The NCAC has the same general beliefs as the Roman Catholic Church but we are not in communion with them. The NCAC differs with some of the Canon Laws of the Roman Catholic Church (man-made rules) but we are in complete agreement with their Dogmas, up to and including the Council of Trent. We honor our Patriarch, Dom Luis Fernando Castillo Mendez who resides in Brazil. We also honor and respect the the Successor of Peter, Pope Benedict XVI. While we are considered valid deacons, priests and bishops by the Roman Catholic Church, we are also considered irregular and illicit in their eyes. We do not tell you this to deter you from attending our church, but so that you can make an educated, informed decision. |
