Fr. Bruce

Our Pastor, Fr. Bruce Wienckowski, holds a full-time, secular job and is also a full-time Independent Catholic priest.  He does not have a salary for his clergy duties and a secular job is required in order to support himself, his family and the parish.  Fr. Bruce donates his own money to the parish just like the other parishioners.

Fr. Bruce was born and raised a Roman Catholic in Philadelphia, PA.  He intended on becoming a Roman Catholic priest since he was 10 years old.  He attended St. Joseph's Prepatory Seminary, a Vincentian High School Seminary, in Princeton, NJ.  From this experience he realized that he wanted to get married and have a family of his own.  However, as he got older, he realized that Roman Catholic priests were permitted to marry at one time in history.  He also realized that he never really lost his calling to the priesthood.  After much prayer and research, he decided that what is now the National Catholic Apostolic Church is more closely aligned to the original Christian Church in the time of the Apostles.  The NCAC has valid Apostolic Succession with clear lines going through Roman Catholic Bishops, from Dom Carlos Duarte Costa of Brazil to Cardinal Rebiba in Italy and then back to the Apostles.
